Black Midi announce UK tour

The buzzy South Londoners are off nationwide early next year.

Buzzy South Londoners Black Midi have announced details of their debut UK tour.

The band, who shared their debut single ‘bmbmbm’ via Speedy Wunderground earlier this year, will head around the country in January and February, beginning in Birmingham at the Hare & Hounds on 23rd February.

In our review of ‘bmbmbm’ upon its release, we said: “As fresh and unique as it is, ‘bmbmbm’ becomes hard to get your head around; there’s elements of hardcore and blackened post-rock in its cacophonous ending, but intricate math-rock in its taut, spiky ongoing verse.

“Justifying all the hype of the live shows in one unrelenting burst, Black Midi have arrived, and there’s absolutely no telling where they’ll go next.”
