SOAK announces second album ‘Grim Town’

Bridie Monds-Watson has also shared new song ‘Knock Me Off My Feet’ and dates for a world tour.

SOAK has returned with details of her second album! Bridie Monds-Watson returned last year with comeback single ‘Everybody Loves You’ and has now announced full details of her second effort.

‘Grim Town’ will come out on 26th April via Rough Trade Records, and she’s also shared a new track ‘Knock Me Off My Feet’, which comes complete with its own video.

‘Grim Town’ is, Bridie explains, “a dystopia that I’ve created in my brain: me on the inside, processed into a pretend location. The way I could wrap my head around a lot of what I was going through was to make it feel like something quite physical and real. Once I had the idea of the album being an actual location, exploring the dynamics of this town and what it would look or sound like felt like the right way to give my mental state a personality.”

She’s also set to head out on a UK tour this spring. Watch the ‘Knock Me Off My Feet’ video and view the tour dates below.
