If the muggy weather wasn’t enough to make you all hot under the collar, Charli XCX and Christine and the Queens are here to ensure it. After premiering their collab ‘Gone’ live at this year’s Primavera Festival, they’ve just released its accompanying video and holy shit.
Starting off all tied up on the hood of a white car, the two eventually break free before dancing on top of said car as rain falls and sparks literally fly.
The video follows Charli’s announcement of her forthcoming self-titled album - her first in five years! - that’ll see guest features by Troye Sivan, Lizzo, Haim, Sky Ferreira, CupcakKe and more. It comes out on 13th September before the pop phenomenon goes on tour, with UK dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London’s O2 Brixton Academy.

“This is the best video ever,” says Charli.
Next-level Charli happens, it seems, to be largely a continuation of the same Charli.
It’s the latest teaser of Charli’s star-studded self-titled new album.
A dark, electro-pop bop about getting rid of shitty people in your life. We have to stan.
