Will Joseph Cook takes on the climate crisis with new track ‘Dragon’

The apocalypse has never sounded so upbeat.

Will Joseph Cook’s new track, and accompanying video, sees the musician breaching the subject of the ongoing climate crisis.

Released to coincide with this Friday’s climate strike, the track was premiered earlier this evening by Annie Mac on Radio 1.

“This video does not contain any useful advice regarding the solution to humanity’s numerous existential crises. It points a finger at the ones in power, then at you, then at itself,” reads a disclaimer at the start of the clip.

As Will explains, the track “is about striving to stay positive and loving. Whilst living in the shadow of several huge global problems like the climate and political unrest. Turning on each other distracts us from finding the real solutions.”
