Listen: Willie J Healey announces new EP and tour, plus new single ‘Songs For Joanna’

The Oxfordshire outlier releases new EP ‘Hello Good Morning’ in November.
Willie J Healey will release his next EP ‘Hello Good Morning’ on 15th November, which is preceded by new single ‘Songs For Joanna’.
You can take a listen to the track below, which has an inflection of angular new wave and power pop.
The lyrics, concerning awkward love triangles and sexual identity, was inspired by his own teenage angst.
“There’s so much confusion and all these emotions. Friends and family tell you that it’s all insignificant, but you don’t know that until you’re through it. Everything will pass,” Willie says.
It’s his first music since last year’s ‘666 Kill’ EP, which followed 2017’s debut album ‘People And Their Dogs’.
The musician will take the new EP on tour (dates below), and is gearing up for his second album to be released next year.
