Electrelane Reform For Summer Shows, Field Day Slot Confirmed

Electrelane are set to reform for shows this summer, including a slot at this year’s Field Day (6th August, Victoria Park, London).

Posting on their official website, the band write:

‘This summer we’re going to play some festivals, including Field Day in London, and a few gigs. We’re still confirming everything, so will be announcing dates soon. It’s very exciting for us to be playing together again after more than three years, and we’re just sorry that we won’t be able to make it to the US this time. At the moment our plan is just to play live this summer, so we hope to see you!’

The band sparked rumours all over the world wide web after Twitter chatter hinted at a Facebook update from guitarist Mia Clarke suggesting a reformation was on the cards. If someone could just add them on LinkedIn, we’d have a social media full house.

Electrelane released four studio albums, going on ‘indefinite hiatus’ in 2007.
