Grammys 2012: Adele Sweeps The Board, Bon Iver, Foo Fighters, Skrillex Win Big

Adele was the big winner at last night’s ceremony, while Bon Iver took home Best New Artist.

Adele was the big winner at last night’s (12th February) 54th Grammy Awards, taking home prizes for Record Of The Year, ‘Best Short Form Music Vdideo and Song Of The Year for ‘Rolling In The Deep’, and both Best Pop Vocal Album and Album Of The Year for ‘21’.

The singer also won the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Someone Like You’, while her producer Paul Epworth was named Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical.

Bon Iver won Best New Artist (yes, we know - Ed) and Best Alternative Music Album for his self titled second record. On accepting the former, Justin Vernon admitted he felt ‘a little bit uncomfortable’ accepting the prize.

Foo Fighters won Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Sond for their track ‘Walk’, while ‘White Lime’ won Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. Their album ‘Wasting Light’ took home Best Rock Album.

Elsewhere Skrillex took home three awards, Amy Winehouse received a posthumous nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Body And Soul’ - her duet with Tonny Bennet, while Kanye took home Best Rap Album for ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, ‘Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for ‘All Of The Lights’, and Best Rap Performance alongside Jay-Z for ‘Otis’.
