Lapalux Announces Debut Album, Shares ‘Guuurl’ Track

Innovative beatmaker preps his debut full length on the Brainfeeder label.

Forward-thinking beatmaker Stuart Howard has announced details of his debut full-length.

‘Nostalchic’ gets its release on the Brainfeeder label, with a rough release date of March 2013.

Lead track ‘Guuurl’ is much of what we’d expect, although that might sound ungrateful when we almost always expect something spectacular and masterfully crafted from Lapalux. ‘Guuurl’ then, is a precious collision of fine, sharp beats, set against a shifting backdrop that rarely remains in a recurring state for more than three seconds.

Read our initial Neu write-up on Lapalux from March 2011 and flick through the rest of his work, including a Boiler Room performance and Howard’s breakthrough EP on Pictures Music.

‘Guuurl’ has previously appeared on a BBC Radio 1 mix.
