Listen: Chet Faker Previews Debut Album With ‘Talk Is Cheap’

Australian previews his debut album with a healthy dose of soulful, downtempo grooves.

Chet Faker, who teased fans six months ago with the release of his first single titled ‘Melt’ (feat. Kilo Kish) off his upcoming debut album ‘Built On Glass’, has finally resurfaced with another single.

‘Talk Is Cheap’, the second single hailing from the record, relishes in jazz-infused, downtempo electronica, similar to what was heard on ‘Melt’. The track is smoothed over, chilled out, and soulful, implying Faker’s musical direction for ‘Built On Glass’ as a whole.

In tandem with the unveiling of ‘Talk Is Cheap’, Faker has also announced that ‘Built On Glass’ is set to drop on April 11th. You can pre-order your copy from iTunes here via Future Classic and Downtown Records.
