PAWS Add New Date To February UK Tour

The Scottish trio will now also stop off in Newcastle on top of shows in Manchester, London, Brighton, Glasgow and more.

It’d be fair to say that Scottish band PAWS had a pretty successful 2012. Not too many people could have claimed to have heard of the three-piece this time last year - yet the past 12 months have seen the arrival of their debut album on FatCat Records and admiration pour in from the likes of Pitchfork, MTV, and even our-very-selves.

And the band (Phillip, Joshua and Matthew) look set to be carrying on the positives of last year (which also somewhat surprisingly heard them played on E4 show Made In Chelsea) into 2013, with demand for their forthcoming February tour of the UK being such that an extra date has been added.

The trio - who were featured in DIY’s Neu last August before the release of their 90s-influenced indie rock debut ‘Cokefloat!’ in October - will now play 10 consecutive dates across England and Scotland throughout February, following the addition of a Newcastle date announced via Facebook last night.

The run of shows kicks off on Valentine’s Day in Glasgow, before dates in Aberdeen, Inverness, and Edinburgh. The group then cross the border for six days in England - taking in London, Brighton, Manchester, and more.
