Suede To Play Alexandra Palace Next Year

March 2013 date announced in support of their new album.

Suede have announced a headline date at London’s Alexandra Palace for 30th March 2013 in support of their new album, due sometime next year. The gig was revealed via a creatively displayed count-down on their Facebook page, which started last week.

Earlier in the year frontman Brett Anderson spoke with The Quietus about the new material they’re working on, saying it sounds like a combination of previous albums ‘Dog Man Star’ and ‘Coming Up’.

The London band’s sixth studio LP was also described by Anderson as ‘sounding like Suede,’ as they’re ‘not trying to reinvent the sound of the band, that’d be a disastrous thing to do. I think that’s possibly where we went wrong on the last two albums.’

Tickets for this headline date at the Alexandra Palace will go on sale 7th December.
