The Front Bottoms Confirm Plans For April UK Tour

The New Jersey pair are set to record their brand new album this month, and have now scheduled five UK shows in April.

They may have a bit of an rather unfortunate name, but we’ve gotta admit, there’s something awfully good about The Front Bottoms (…shhh, you!)

Having first visited our shores last year when they supported Tellison in May - DIY bagged them as support for our DIY Presents… show of the latter’s at London’s Garage - they performed a handful of shows in support of the UK release of their debut album. By the time September rolled around, they returned alongside The Menzingers and now, it looks like they’re planning on embarking upon their first UK dates of 2013.

The duo recently announced that they’d be working on the follow-up to their self-titled debut, after making the following statement: ‘Made it to Austin! We will be here for the next three weeks making our record. We are ending this by throwing 3 parties in Austin, Little Rock, and Nashville as we head back to Jersey. Come out! Who knows, maybe you will hear some new stuff…..’

Then, as soon as recording gets wrapped up, it looks like they’ll be boarding a plane to the UK to grace us with their musical presence once more.

The New Jersey pair have scheduled five dates across the UK in April, as follows.

17 Hare & Hounds, Birmingham
18 King Tut’s, Glasgow
19 Cockpit 3 Leeds
22 Roadhouse, Manchester
23 Barfly, London
