Watch: COUSINS Share ‘What’s Your Name?’ Video, Announce UK Dates

Canada duo of Aaron Mangle and Leigh Dotey play this year’s Great Escape Fest.

COUSINS are a Halifax, Canada two-piece making quite the racket. They’ve been shaking the basement walls for a good while, with releases spanning back to 2009, 2012 album ‘THE PALM AT THE END OF THE MIND’ being their most recent, self-release.

But this is the first time the pair of Aaron Mangle and Leigh Dotey are attacking the UK. It’s within their sights. They’ve announced four dates, including a slot at this year’s Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Plus there’s the small matter of this ‘What’s Your Name’ video. Sorry: ‘WHAT’S YOUR NAME’. Caps are mandatory when it comes to these guys, especially considering how much Dotey and Mangle savagely spill out bellowed chants in their own songs.

The new video is all looping fireworks, being set off both outdoors and indoors. It’s scrappy, but it’s entirely in keeping with COUSINS’ raw, don’t-try-this-at-home intensity.
