La Sardina DIY designed by Chris Howker, Hattie Newman, Kirsty Mitchell and Cléo Ferin.
Lomography UK are currently holding a rather special exhibition, Let’s Play Sardines. Arriving in their Soho store this week, it utilises the brand’s La Sardina DIY cameras and the Victorian parlour game Sardines (a little like hide and seek).
Each La Sardina DIY camera is totally customisable, you see; a blank canvas. You can paint them, stick things on them, engrave… they even come with their own little screwdriver, to help you take them apart.
The cameras in the exhibition have been re-worked by the likes of Supermundane, Gemma Correll, Kirsty Mitchell, Pete Fowler, The Broken Hearts and Donna Wilson - in total 25 UK artists, illustrators, designers and photographers.
We’re not going to let them have all the fun however; we’ve one of these nifty devices to give away to a lucky DIY reader. To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the following question: How would you DIY your camera if you won?
