Wolf Alice Reveal ‘Fluffy’ Single Ahead Of Neu ‘Hello 2013’ Show

The band talk exclusively to DIY about the new single.

London’s most thrilling emerging band Wolf Alice have shared details of a new single on Chess Club Records.

‘Fluffy’ is due for release on 11th February, and follows on from the terrific ‘Leaving You’.

While the previous single was a strung out number primed for lengthy road trips and evenings alone, this new offering gives a more vivid insight into what we can expect from the group as they look to take 2013 by storm.

‘Fluffy’ is ferocity defined; a side to Wolf Alice we’ve yet to see bloom in such dramatic style, up to now.

”Fluffy’ is about being bored,’ the band tell DIY. ‘We wanted to make a song with nasty guitars and a lot of energy as we needed an excuse to use our rock horns and practice our headbanging.’

Wolf Alice headline the first of Neu! and The Old Blue Last's 'Hello 2013' shows in London, starting tomorrow night, 8th January.

Stream ‘Fluffy’ below and join the band in practicing your headbanging technique. You’ll need it if you’re heading to the show tomorrow night. Pre-order the single through Rough Trade.
