SBTRKT is streaming ‘The Light’, another track to be taken from his forthcoming second album ‘Wonder Where We Land’.
‘The Light’ features Denai Moore on vocals, bringing bittersweet lyrics into a simple, minimal house environment. It’s probably the most straight-down-the-line, immediate song on the new record, with Moore documenting the feeling that she’s lost all inspiration.
Previously, SBTRKT has shared the Ezra Koenig-featuring ‘New Dorp, New York’, ‘Temporary View’, ‘Higher’ (feat. Raury’ and ‘Look Away’, a track with Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek that arrives on a standalone, creepy interactive site.
‘The Light is streaming below - SBTRKT played London Roundhouse last night, and he’s taking ‘Wonder Where We Land’ (out 22nd September) to the following shows:
26 Leeds, O2 Academy
27 Glasgow, O2 ABC
29 Bristol, O2 Academy
30 Manchester, Albert Hall
01 Nottingham, Rock City
02 London, Brixton Academy

The track opens her recently released album ‘Modern Dread’.
Denai Moore could never have guessed when she was writing new LP ‘Modern Dread’ how prescient her fears might turn out to be. A bold, unapologetic next step, its arrival couldn’t be more timely.
This month’s issue also features interviews with Celeste, Dream Wife, Creeper, Denai Moore and more.
These are songs to dance to at the end of the world.
