The drifting, absorbing folk of Jessica Pratt is set to get its biggest stall yet with the release of her second album ‘On Your Own Love Again’.
Following a self-titled debut released back in 2012, on the basis of lead track ‘Baby, Baby’, Pratt’s intimate leanings aren’t going to shift one jot. “Sometimes I pray for the rain,” she sings, ahead of one of the catchiest, most at-ease “la la la na na na” choruses to emerge in yonks.
This is the first song to emerge from the record, with Pratt previously showcasing a track in the form of an acoustic session video.
‘On Your Own Love Again’ is out 26th January via Drag City.
