On the telly: The Decemberists perform ‘Make You Better’ live on Conan

The Decemberists perform ‘Make You Better’ live on Conan

As the band gear up to release their new record next year, they took their latest single to late night television.

It’s already been given a rather special video treatment but The Decemberists didn’t think that was enough for the latest offering, ‘Make You Better’. This time - instead of dressing up Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman as a German TV presenter - the band headed into a different kind of studio to meet with another TV host, Conan O’Brien.

The track gets taken from their forthcoming album ‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’, which is due for release on 19th January through Rough Trade Records. The full-length is set to land while the band are over in the UK and Ireland for a full tour, before returning to their native North America for a six-week tour.
