Manchester-based producer Andy Stott has remixed Panda Bear’s single ‘Boys Latin’.
The remix has been shared ahead of Noah Lennox’s UK / European tour, beginning in London on Wednesday 4th March. ‘Boys Latin’ is the second single taken from Panda Bear’s recent album ‘Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper’.
On Stott’s remix, ‘Boys Latin’ is pushed towards the left field spectrum, with dub and techno beats swarming around a tight and dense space. Panda Bear’s vocals enter after a hyperactive opening, sounding like they’ve been brought back from the Gregorian era before the chaos resumes.
Panda Bear will begin a UK/European tour this week, performing on the following dates:
4 London, Electric Brixton
5 Brussels (BE), Botanique
6 Paris (FR) La Gaîté Lyrique
8 Zeewolde (NL), Where There Wild Things Are Festival
10 Berlin (DE), Berghain
11 Lisbon (POR), Teatro Maria Matos
12 Braga (POR), GNRation
Tickets for all shows can be found here. Listen to Andy Stott’s remix of ‘Boys Latin’ below.
