Deerhoof, Brontide and Blanck Mass are among a number of new names announced for this year’s ArcTanGent festival.
These names are joined by Mutiny On The Bounty, Delta Sleep, Axes, The Fierce & The Dead, Quadrupede, USA Nails and Cousin in the final line-up announcement for this year’s event, ArcTanGent’s third birthday.
The acts join previously announced headliners Deafheaven and The Dillinger Escape Plan, with 65daysofstatic headlining the Thursday night for bands returning to ArcTanGent.
The event, to be held two weeks earlier than normal from 20th to 22nd August just outside Bristol, is also hosting the likes of Rolo Tomassi, Vennart and Talons.
DIY described last year’s event as “a successful beacon for scene which – for as long as it sets foot on this farm - no longer has to lurk in the shadows”, and this year’s line-up shows the festival branching out from its strict post-rock beginnings and incorporating other different genres.
Tickets for ArcTanGent 2015 are on sale now.

‘Conventional’, if only by their wildly ambitious standards.
The title of this record is much like the music it bears - you squint at it for a minute, trying to work out what it means, and then suddenly it all makes sense.
From topsy turvy drum kits, to a longstanding hatred for a Queen song, the band’s Greg Saunier talks us through musical obsessions, old and new.
As usual, there’s probably a few too many ideas here and the band trip up on them occasionally.
