Listen: Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig makes Beats 1 debut with ‘Time Crisis’
Frontman airs Skepta, Abba and Drake on his first episode for Apple Music.
Last night (12th July), Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig made his debut on Apple Music station Beats 1, delivering his first ‘Time Crisis With Ezra Koenig’ episode.
Opening with Abba’s ‘One Of Us’, Koenig went on to play songs from Skepta, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Billy Joel.
Mark Ronson visited as a special guest, there’s a skit where Koenig, Despot, Desus, Mero and Ezra run through the current iTunes top five, and he aired a short story read out by Rashida Jones about visiting Michael Jackson’s house.
