Interview: Director Jake Schreier talks new film, Paper Towns

Schreier discusses his vision for the film, and allowing his actors to improvise.

The big screen adaptation of John Green’s novel, Paper Towns is out in cinemas now and marks the second of the popular author’s books, after 2014’s The Fault in Our Stars, to make the leap from page to screen.

Starring Nat Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars) and Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), Paper Towns is helmed by Robot and Frank director, Jake Schreier.

DIY sent Amon Warmann to speak with Schreier about his vision for the film and allowing his actors to improvise.
