Premiere: Baby Strange take a trip to ‘Pleasure City’ with new single

Swaggering track arrives ahead of tour dates with Slaves.
There’s a swagger in Baby Strange’s step. After years playing underground shows across the country, they’re stepping up to arenas on an upcoming tour supporting Slaves. And with that, new single ‘Pleasure City’ is the sound of a band raising the dial.
Escapism delivered in the kind of sludge-first aesthetic Josh Homme would approve, ‘Pleasure City’ also packs their most all-embracing chorus to date. Premiering on DIY, the single comes backed with the booziest video this side of Sean Ryder’s home diaries. A whiskey-soaked, stumbling stranger, it’s the sweet escape Baby Strange were looking for. Ciaran Lyons directs.
