Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem announces ‘Painkillers’ solo album

Hear first cut ‘A Wonderful Life’ now.

Just a few months after the disbanding of The Gaslight Anthem earlier this year, frontman Brian Fallon is back with a solo album, ‘Painkillers’.

Lead track ‘A Wonderful Life’ sees Fallon’s Americana roots come to the fore. More upbeat than the Gaslight day-job, it’s built around a defiant rallying cry - “I don’t wanna survive; I want a wonderful life.”

Produced by Butch Walker and recorded at Nashville’s Taxidermy Studios, ‘Painkillers’ is set for release on March 11th via Virgin EMI. He’ll celebrate its release with an extensive tour across the U.S., UK and Europe - full dates for that are below, along with a stream of ‘ A Wonderful Life’.
