Watch: Animal Collective unveil ‘FloriDada’ video

The bonkers new clip comes with an epilepsy warning, ‘fyi’.

Animal Collective’s latest single ‘FloriDada’ is a mind-bending trip down a world of bonkers psychedelic pop, so it’s only right that their new accompanying video for the song is every bit as batshit.

Telling the tale of a sort-of love story between two shape-shifting, colourful characters (who appear to be made out of paint, if that means anything?), it’s as daft as the track is sugar-sweet and catchy. Watch the video below, but be warned - it comes with an epilepsy warning.

‘FloriDada’’s taken from ‘Painting With’, AnCo’s new album. That’s set for release on February 19th through Domino ahead of a ma-hoosive world tour. Speaking of which, they’ve added a second date at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire to the run - full UK dates are below. While you’re waiting for those to roll around, why not catch up with our in-the-studio chat with the band right here?

For some, this might be too tame. An album full of ‘Bluish’ rather than ‘Fireworks’. But for others, that means it’s the most accessible.
