It’s not exactly one to cure the January blues, but Chairlift have shared a tender-hearted highlight from their new album.
‘Crying in Public’ is a delicately-placed ballad flipped on its head. Glasslike synths weave around Caroline Polachek’s voice, which comes clear as day. No fancy tricks or needless effects to be found, here. It’s Chairlift’s most direct song for yonks, and it’s a clear standout on this latest LP.
