Bloc Party stream new ‘Virtue’ track

The third taste of new album ‘Hymns’ is online now.

With new album ‘Hymns’ now imminent, the new-look Bloc Party are amping up expectation with another new single.

‘Virtue’, the third track to be taken from the upcoming full-length, harks back to its controversial lead taster ‘The Love Within’. Taking that synth-esque guitar effect and pairing it to a spiky, more ‘classic’ Bloc Party post-punk structure, it links up with the slide-guitar-packed ‘The Good News’ in showcasing ‘Hymns” kaleidoscopic range of influence.

Stream ‘Virtue’ below. ‘Hymns’ is released on January 29th via Infectious Music - before that, the band play a PIAS Nites show at London’s Village Underground. DIY went into the studio with Bloc Party as they recorded ‘Hymns’, catch up with that here.
