Coldplay have been to India, didn’t you know?

A ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ video stars Chris Martin and Beyoncé on their travels.

World’s oldest gap year student Chris Martin stars in Coldplay’s colourful new video for ‘Hymn For the Weekend’.

Beyoncé also stars in the new clip, making fleeting appearances in between a clichéd portrait of India. Chris is all over the place; in riverboats backed by fireworks; hanging out near temples; getting covered in paint; watching films in a local cinema. He’s having the adventure of a lifetime and he wants everyone to know about it. Ben Mor directs the video.

The song’s taken from 2015 LP ‘A Head Full of Dreams’, which comes backed by a world tour running this year.

The travels continue with these dates:

JUNE
04 Manchester, Etihad Stadium
05 Manchester, Etihad Stadium
07 Glasgow, Hampden Park
15, 16, 18, 19 London, Wembley Stadium
