Låpsley covers The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’

Fresh from the announcement of her debut album, she’s covered Abel’s huge chart smash.

After finally announcing her sure-to-be-wicked debut album ‘Long Way Home’, Låpsley has covered The Weeknd’s massive pop hit ‘The Hills’.

Recorded for American radio station Sirius XMU, the session sees the XL newcomer take on the chart smash with aplomb, adding a darker twist to The Weeknd’s already murky R’n’B. Stream it below.

Catch up with the DIY verdict on ‘Love Is Blind’ - the first track to be taken from Låspley’s debut full-length ‘Long Way Home’. That’s due via XL Recordings on March 4th.
