The Athens group’s Wichita full-length is online ahead of its release next week.

Ahead of its release next week, Mothers are streaming their debut album in full.

‘When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired’, as well as being a helpful piece of advice, is the Athens group’s debut album. Set for release via Wichita Recordings next Friday 26th February, you can hear it in full below, via NPR. It follows lead singles ‘Too Small For Eyes’ and ‘No Crying In Baseball’ and its suitably gloomy accompanying video.

Read the four-star DIY review of ‘When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired’, which finds the group “adding heart and personality to already intimate subject matter.” They play the following London dates next week:

FEBRUARY
24 London, Servant Jazz Quarters (sold out)
26 London, The Lexington
27 London, Rough Trade East
