Charli XCX shares Hannah Diamond collaboration, ‘Paradise’

Hear the latest fizzing cut from ‘Vroom Vroom’.

This Friday (26th February), Charli XCX releases her SOPHIE-produced EP, ‘Vroom Vroom’. The past week, she’s been sharing bonkers, fizzing pop cuts a far cry from last year’s ‘Sucker’ album. Latest case in point - ‘Paradise’, a “rave-inspired” collaboration with PC Music alumni Hannah Diamond.

‘Paradise’ gained a play last night on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show (listen from the 58 minute mark). Speaking to Annie, Charli spoke about her new direction and the establishment of her own label, Vroom Vroom Recordings. “I just wanted to release music that I loved. I want to always work with people who I find inspiring, so I thought what a way to do it, by having my own record label.”

She added: “It’s a whole new aesthetic for me, a whole new string to my bow. I just wanna be a boss, and more girls are starting to do that. I wanna be a business boss.”
