Festivals: Muse announced as Glastonbury headliners

They join Coldplay at the top of the Worthy Farm bill.
Muse have been confirmed at Friday night headliners for Glastonbury. The glammy rock warblers will join Coldplay at the top of the bill this summer.
Matt Bellamy and co. announced their return to Worthy Farm on twitter, posting a video nodding to their Pyramid Stage sets in 2004 and 2010. The video ends with ‘Friday Night, 2016,’ followed by a shot of the nearby Stonehenge. It can only mean one thing.
This will be the third time that Muse have played on Glastonbury's main stage. The final headliner will be announced soon, with Michael and Emily Eavis confirming that all three acts are British. Lower down the line-up, PJ Harvey as also been confirmed, along with an official David Bowie tribute.
Glastonbury takes place from 22nd-26th June. Watch out for low-flying drones on Friday night. Watch Muse play 'Uprising' on the main stage back in 2010 below.
