Patrick Wolf returns for May 2016 UK tour

We haven’t heard from Wolf since 2012’s ‘Sundark and Riverlight’.

[Correction: On 10th March, DIY was informed of a new Patrick Wolf album, single and world tour, from a label called Bloody Chamber Music. Representatives for the artist have since been in touch to confirm the information was false but that Patrick Wolf is in the studio, working on new material.]

Patrick Wolf has announced his first UK tour since 2013.

Starting 9th May at Bristol Lantern, the Londoner will play five shows as part of a bigger, European tour.

Wolf’s last album was 2012’s ‘Sundark and Riverlight’, a double-album to mark the 10 year anniversary of his brilliant debut, ‘Lycanthropy’.

Back in 2015, Wolf was involved in a serious car accident after being struck by a moving vehicle in Italy. “Life is actually quite beautiful when you’re three steps out of time, lots of love and a huge humble bow to those of you who are superabled when the world said disabled,” he told fans in August.

UK dates:

MAY
09 Bristol, Lantern
10 Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
11 Manchester, Deaf Institute
12 Glasgow, Stereo
15 London, Islington Assembly Hall
