Power couple: Watch Lady Gaga join Tame Impala on stage at FYF Fest

She didn’t do a whole lot, mind.
Tame Impala play exclusively in the big leagues these days - during their FYF Fest set this weekend, they were joined on stage by none other than bonafide massive pop star Lady bloody Gaga. It’s the latest saga in a bonkers summer that’s truly belonged to Kevin Parker and the lads.
Ol’ Gaga didn’t do a great deal, mind - she pretty much just walked on stage, did a wave and then hugged Kev towards the end of ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’, a highlight from last year’s ‘Currents’ LP. Still. That hug’s probably worth billions.
Watch footage of the incident below - it comes ahead of the release of Lady Gaga’s new single ‘Perfect Illusion’, due next month, which was produced by Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson, alongside pop mega-producer BloodPop. Maybe the hug was to say thanks.
Catch up with our interview with Tame Impala from last year.
