This Saturday (12th November), the Dr. Martens Stand For Something Tour, in association with DIY, will be playing host to the incendiary VANT, who’ll be heading up to Newcastle for the tour’s third outing.
The quartet, led by Northerner Mattie Vant, will be returning to The Cluny for an explosive set; a venue that’s woven into the history of the band. “I’ve played there in various incarnations over the years,” Mattie remembers. “The Ouseburn Valley is a North East hub of creativity and it has an amazing atmosphere, especially around the time of Evolution Emerging. The Cluny is at the heart of the area and kick-started the whole scene.”
The band will also be appearing at the Newcastle Dr. Martens on Saturday, where they’ll be signing merch for fans. They’ll be there from 6.30pm, ahead of the show.
We’ve also got a pair of tickets to give away for what promises to be the unmissable gig. To be in with a chance of winning, simply make a tweet, or use any of the other options on the form below. The competition closes tomorrow (Friday 11th November) at 6pm, and we’ll email you if you’re the lucky winner.
