Ice age: Yung Lean’s new album ‘Frost God’ is streaming now

The new LP is almost entirely made up of new material.

Surprise! Yung Lean has just dropped his new album ‘Frost God’ on streaming services completely out of the blue.

Despite only releasing his last record ‘Warlord’ earlier this year, the new LP only contains only one previously released track – ‘Hennessy & Sailor Moon’ – and features seven brand new tunes. As its title might suggest, it’s a pretty frosty affair, but not in a warming “Christmas magic” kind of way. Instead, it’s jam packed with icy beats and even more glacial synths. There’s also a number of guests spots, including from A$AP Ferg on ‘Crystal City’.

Oh and it’s got a bit of a Jason Voorhees-meets-Jack Nicholson at the end of ‘The Shining’ vibe going on with the cover. Truly chilling.
