The post is titled “00110011 01110111 01110111”, translating to “3W”. Then, as is customary now for the biggest acts in the world, fans went digging. A Japanese iTunes listing was unearthed for a new album, ‘Relaxer’, released on 9th June. Conveniently, its first track is called “3WW”, and has now been officially released.
‘Relaxer’ is indeed out on 9th June, and the band headline London’s O2 Arena the following week as part of a series of special celebrations for the venue’s tenth birthday.
The album was recorded all across London, with the band revealing at the start of this year that they’d been working at the legendary Abbey Road studios.
If Genius is to be believed, the track also features Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice. What a bloody brilliant combo.
The band have a host of festival appearances upcoming in 2017, headlining Bluedot in Cheshire as well as playing the likes of Mad Cool in Madrid and NOS Alive in Lisbon.
Listen to ‘3WW’ and view ‘Relaxer”s tracklisting below.

Elsewhere on the bill, alt-J, Phoebe Bridgers and Haim all lined up for the bumper Madrid event.
The band are set to tour new album ‘The Dream’ across the UK from next week.
The show comes alongside three existing gigs at the London venue on the back of recent album ‘The Dream’.
alt-J have spent the past decade Trojan-horsing the mainstream, and with new LP ‘The Dream’, the trio are sticking up two fingers to the naysayers and celebrating their curious niche with gusto.
