Watch: Grandaddy share 360° virtual reality video for ‘That’s What You Get For Gettin’ Outta Bed’

Created by Andrew Deutsch, it renders an immersive dream-like world.
Prepare to enter an immersive dream world as Grandaddy have created a full-on virtual reality video for their latest single ‘That’s What You Get For Gettin’ Outta Bed.’
The clip for the ‘Last Place’ cut has been created by Andrew Deutch (of HOME) and, according to the description on the video, promises “surreal and colourful forms, including Grandadddy band members stuck inside various digital devices.” Yep, it does that alright. It also throws you in the middle of a strange plane where you can fly with what might be pterodactyls and little alien men play classic arcade games.

Grandaddy will play Latitude (13th-16th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
