Viva Italia: Phoenix have shared new track ‘Ti Amo’
The title track from their upcoming sixth album is one of their most upbeat yet.
Recently, French popsters Phoenix hit Italian telly (well, sort of) in the light-fantastic video for their recent single ‘J-Boy’.
Now, in the run up to them releasing their sixth album ‘Ti Amo’ in June, they’ve only gone and shared the title track! It’s another disco-inspired gem that might be one of the band’s paciest and uptempo tunes to date, with Thomas Mars detailing standing by the jukebox, listening to the Buzzcocks. Sounds like a decent night, really.
The track is accompanied by a lyric video, with a backdrop of karaoke blue and screened by the same (ahem) “channel” that broadcast their performance of ‘J-Boy’. Canale Quatro is our new favourite station.
Listen to ‘Ti Amo’ below (and have a sing along if you fancy!)
