Festivals: Frank Ocean cancels Primavera Sound performance, replaced by Jamie xx

The festival takes place this weekend in Barcelona.
After cancelling every scheduled 2017 show to date, Frank Ocean has now pulled his set at this weekend’s Primavera Sound.
The show was set to be the singer’s first European date on the back of new(ish) LP ‘Blonde’. As with the US performances he cancelled, the singer has cited “production delays beyond his control” as the reason for cancellation.
Ocean is set to play next weekend’s Parklife bash in Manchester, but it’s not yet clear whether the set will go ahead.
The set at Primavera is set to be filled by Jamie xx, who is playing the festival with The xx. Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and more are also set to appear across the weekend at the Parc Del Forum in Barcelona.
