Lorde offers up new ‘Melodrama’ cut ‘Perfect Places’

The new track offers another glimpse into her forthcoming new album, due out on 16th June.

Following on from hints that Lorde would be sharing new music this week, she’s only gone and done just that: she’s now revealed new track ‘Perfect Places’, and you can listen below.

Taken from her forthcoming second album ‘Melodrama’ - which is due out on 16th June - her newest offering is another of her collaborations with Jack Antonoff, aka Bleachers.

‘Perfect Places’ follows ‘Green Light’ and ‘Liability’ in previewing the follow-up to her 2013 debut ‘Pure Heroine’; Lorde shared the track’s opening lyrics - “Every night I live & die / feel the party to my bones” - across her socials last week.

The new track also follows on from news that Lorde will now also be playing live at this year’s Open’er Festival.
