Watch: Death From Above pump iron in the video for ‘Freeze Me’
The band are butlers to a bunch of bodybuilders in the new clip.
Last week, Death From Above 1979 changed their name back to its original form, Death From Above, and dropped a new single ‘Freeze Me’ (which ironically debuted as Radio 1’s Hottest Record in the World).
Now the new track has a video, directed by Corey Adams, and it’s a little bit odd. In it, DFA are cast as butlers who serve up corn dogs to a bunch of bodybuilders living a lavish lifestyle as the world seems to be falling apart around them.
As the world burns, the bodybuilders have a lot of fun indeed jumping in the pool, rolling around their luxury bedrooms and doing what they do best: posing and pumping iron.
