Live wires: Jimmy Eat World embrace their live spirit in the video for ‘Get Right’
It gives a glimpse into their intense live shows.
Last year emo legends Jimmy Eat World returned with their latest album ‘Integrity Blues’. Yep, it was that long ago. We can’t believe it either.
Not quite as long ago, they played one of its singles, ‘Get Right’, on Conan and it was a muscular performance. For the single’s latest video though, the full force of the band’s intense live shows comes to the fore. Shot in grainy black and white, it’s scuzzy and raw, with the energy of the band pouring from every new angle.
Earlier in the year we talked to Jimmy Eat World about their musical obsessions, and they gave us the lowdown on their thoughts on Mitski, Royal Blood, Iggy Pop and more. Read the New Tricks feature here.
