Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean team up on ‘911/ Mr. Lonely’

It’s the B-side to another new Tyler track, ‘Who Dat Boy’.

Tyler, the Creator and Frank Ocean have steadily been weaving a collaborative history over the last year or so.

Tyler contributed a poem to Frank’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ magazine, and he appeared on the original version of ‘Biking’ alongside Jay Z. Now it seems Frank is returning the favour, by appearing on a brand new track from Tyler.

‘911/ Mr. Lonely’ is actually the B-side to Tyler’s latest single proper, a team-up with A$AP Rocky called ‘Who Dat Boy’, which he’s also just shared. It’s a very laid-back, soulful cut that evokes classic R&B. For half of it. The other half (‘Mr. Lonely’) sees frenetic trap beats overlaid with Tyler’s rapping and flighty vintage electronics.
