Arcade Fire cover John Lennon’s ‘Mind Games’ for Spotify Singles
The track, as well as a version of ‘Everything Now’ was recorded in NYC.
Arcade Fire have recorded a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Mind Games’ for Spotify Singles.
The track, originally released by the late Beatle as a single in 1973 and featuring as the title track of his album of the same year, was recorded at the streaming service’s NYC studio - alongside a version of the band’s own ‘Everything Now’.
Other artists who’ve taken part in the series include The Japanese House taking on Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’, Local Natives performing ‘Ultralight Beam’, and Tears For Fears’ with their version of ‘Creep’.

Arcade Fire are currently touring the US in support of ‘Everything Now’. They visit the UK next Spring.
