Watch Paramore bring ‘After Laughter’ to an NPR Tiny Desk Concert
The band played stripped-down versions of ‘Hard Times’, ‘26’ and new single ‘Fake Happy’.
Paramore are currently touring their new album ‘After Laughter’, and stopped by NPR’s office to play a Tiny Desk Concert.
Hayley Williams and co. played stripped-back versions of ‘Hard Times’, ‘26’ and latest single ‘Fake Happy’ in the now-legendary spot.
The band are set to return to the UK early next year for another run of shows in support of LP5, following gigs including a Royal Albert Hall show earlier this year.
We headed out to Nashville to talk to the trio about ‘After Laughter’ and the significant turbulence that’s surrounded the band recently around the release of the new album for a cover feature in the magazine.
“I still feel like we’re really green, especially with this record,” Hayley told us. “It felt like there were so many new things to try and so many new feelings about life - you’re finally all the way over the hump of being able to deny that you’re an adult now. Yeah, this was a crazy record to make.”
