Listen: The White Stripes are releasing a new live album

It’s the latest in Third Man Records’ subscription series.

This year marks 10 years since The White Stripes released their album ‘Icky Thump’, but for a new live collection Third Man Records are going a little further back into the band’s history.

‘The White Stripes Live In Detroit: 1999-2000-2001’ will be available as the latest instalment of the label’s Vault subscription service, which will feature two concerts in the city as well as a show in Ferndale, Michigan. Among the concerts is a full-album, performance of their album ‘White Blood Cells’, while the set also comes with reproductions of posters that Jack White used for the shows and a custom sleeve.

Earlier in the year, The White Stripes also shared recordings from their first-ever show at The Gold Collar Detroit’s open mic night twenty years ago, featuring versions of ‘St. James Infirmary’, ‘Jimmy the Exploder’ and ‘Love Potion #9’.
