Listen: Abattoir Blues announce ‘Blinded’ EP with title track

The new collection comes out next month, before the band’s debut headline tour.
Abattoir Blues announced their debut headline tour recently, set for December. They’ve now announced details of a new EP called ‘Blinded’ and shared its title track.
‘Blinded’ comes out on 24th November via Telharmonium, and its first preview is a well-known live favourite that sounds just as booming and vicious on record.
The new release follows last year’s massive debut single ‘Sense’, with the band’s tour starting on 5th December in Bristol.
We put the band in our Class Of 2017 this time last year, with the band already adapting and looking to the future.
“The songwriting has definitely become more considered, and I think we’ve all generally just become better musicians,” says guitarist George Boorman. “We do spend longer on the songs now than we used to… which is definitely a good thing.”
“When we realised we actually wanted to make a statement, we didn’t want the statement to be ‘getting fucked’,” adds vocalist Harry Waugh.
