Meadowlark have been confirmed to play the PRS Foundation’s Momentum Day showcase this evening (Tuesday 7th November).
Earlier today, PRS teamed up with Glastonbury Festival for a series of talent development workshops and panels at Bristol’s Trinity Centre, which are set to culminate with a live show tonight.
Originally, the ace Muncie Girls were set to perform but sadly, due to illness, were forced to pull out at the last moment. It’s now been confirmed that Meadowlark, who released their debut album ‘Postcards’ earlier this year, will be stepping in to join Ten Fé and 808INK at The Trinity Centre.
Speaking of their last minute involvement, the band have said: “Momentum has been a huge help to us as a band. We felt they believed in our music and in our future, and that can give enormous confidence to a band like us. Events like these are so important because they break down this elusive barrier between artist and mainstream media, and help bands to feel like they really have support and a way in to the industry.”
Tickets are still available for the show tonight and are priced at £7 - head here to grab one.
