Slam Dunk Festival has announced the first wave of names for its 2018 edition!
Jimmy Eat World are heading up the bill, and are set to headline the three-day event next May. They’re joined by Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, Sleeping With Sirens, State Champs and Trash Boat. They’re just the first six names to be announced, with many more set to take to the eight stages across the course of three days.
There’s also a new location for Slam Dunk South, which gets underway on Sunday 27th May. It’ll now take place in Hatfield Park, which is double the size of its original location in the University of Hatfield.
Festival Director Ben Ray said in a press release: “Slam Dunk Festival South has been taking place in Hatfield since 2010 so the town has truly become our home. Therefore, I am extremely happy we managed to find a new site still within the town. We are sad to leave the University however the event was selling out months in advance so we knew we had to move it and make it bigger due to demand from the fans”.
